ABOUT THE EXHIBIT
Bill Goldberg, well regarded owner of Los Angele's acclaimed Verve Gallery, is collaborating with his colleague Armando Arorizo of The Perfect Exposure Gallery.
Together they have created a variation of Verve's original May 1992 exhibit. The Los Angeles Times quoted Goldberg as saying. "there is nothing more quintessentially American than baseball and the blues". Many of the blues and jazz photo's take one back in time.... it's as if the sounds fill the room when viewing these photographs. Other images catch the artists after their sets in more informal, spontaneous and intimate situations. Images of John Lee Hooker, Joe Williams, Miles Davis, John Coltrane and on and on give the viewer a lesson in American history, blues/jazz history as well African American history.
So different yet so similar are the images of Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Cuban "street baseball", et. al. that create an amazing contrast to the music photo's yet synergism of a bygone era that we all embrace and constantly dseire to recapture and relive.
ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Herb Snitzer, Ave Pildas, Jon Soohoo, ASC,Charlie Lieberman, ASC, Armando Arorizo, Alex Pitt and William Claxton is a critcally acclaimed and highly collected photographer. He is best best known for his images of jazz. His images are joined and adorned by a number of his well respected peers in the world and history of photography.

The Perfect Exposure Gallery is the recognized venue in Southern California to display the work of award winning and accomplished photojournalists as well as works of photographers that regard artistry and craftsmanship as a standard of excellence. The mission of the Perfect Exposure Gallery is to present exhibits free of charge to the general public with the following goals to exemplify the rich variety and impact of photography, freedom of expression, a forum for the aesthetic, the contemptible and the sublime.
